BY COMING TOGETHER TO FIGHT THIS DISEASE, WE SHARE HOPE AND HEALING.
We have learned that melanoma is often a misunderstood cancer, making the healing journey even more difficult.
The Family Tent at “This Run’s for Jack” provides a place filled with hope to gather and talk with survivors, oncologists, dermatologists, caregivers and others affected by this disease. A gentle place for healing of the mind, body and soul.
For those in the process of fighting the disease, the building of the first Jack H. Marston II Healing Garden at Advocate Lutheran Hospital, as well as the development of programs that provide both practical and emotional support for those in treatment.
Our marathon teams are filled with runners looking for a place to fight back after this disease has taken a loved one or personally touched their lives.
