TRFJ2025 Sharing the memories…

Strength. Passion. Focus. on full display at TRFJ2025…yes, it rained, but that did not matter. We ran and walked anyway, we laughed, we hugged and we celebrated our loved ones.  Making memories on a fall morning, we welcomed 200 volunteers and 462 runners, walkers, new families and old friends to Ackerman Park for the 22nd Annual This Run’s for Jack. For the first time in 22 years we moved the pre and post event activities inside Ackerman Sports Center. And, we ran…babies in strollers, moms, dads, kids and seniors.  All crossing the finish line wet and cold with smiles, proudly raising their hands for a high-five from the volunteers. This is our SPF!  This is fighting melanoma every step of the way!  Then moving inside Ackerman Sports Center, for the awards, pizza and a breakfast burritos to help warm the soul and provide a place to share stories, laughs and more hugs.

What an amazing day…It will be a shared memory for many years to come.
