Thanks for checking out my fundraising page.

Never in a million years did I think I would run a Marathon, but this is an incredible cause and great opportunity to raise money for something I’m very passionate about.

I find raising money just as intimidating as the race!

I appreciate any support you can lend to a cause so near and dear to me and my family.

In 2008 I lost my father to Melanoma.

As an ex high school coach/teacher and Army Officer he had great passion for athletics and competition.

Growing up in Spokane, I remember vividly our times running Bloomsday together.

Running, athletics, and sport have all taken on different meanings since he’s passed and they truly represent the closest I get to “being with him.”

I am running the NYC Marathon with my brother, who now lives in NY, and raising funds for melanoma research is the perfect way to have our father’s spirit there to power us through to the finish line.

I hope you will support the cause in any way you can!

Thanks!
