Crate & Barrel Awareness Event
May is Melanoma Awareness Month
Longtime employee and founding board member of The Jack H. Marston II Melanoma Foundation, Rhoda Spohn, shared with Crate & Barrel’s Clarendon store staff in Arlington, Virginia, information about skin cancer. She shared the foundation’s vision – “We envision a world where every adult and child is aware of the risks of melanoma and takes preventative measures; where those who suffer from melanoma receive comfort and healing; and ultimately, where every case of melanoma will be completely curable.” Rhoda created greeting cards as part of a fundraiser for this charity. Jack’s Fund is focuses on four foundation pillars – research, healing, education and memorials. Complimentary sunscreen samples from Blue Lizzard were given to the staff.
