Tim is planning to attend and play football at Illinois Wesleyan University where he will study business.

… After losing the previous year in the state semifinals, the players returning for the next season huddled together. Looking around, I noticed we all seemed consumed within the agony of defeat. As the shear, bitter cold froze our tears halfway down our faces, we made a promise to each other. We decided nothing was going to stop us from taking our team one step further next year. At that moment, our journey for the state championship had begun ….Fast-forwarding … with less than a minute to go in the fourth quarter of the state championship, and a tied ball game at seventeen points a piece, our team opted for a potential game-winning field goal. Being the kicker on the team, I trotted in from the sideline to go set up my kick. I couldn’t help but smile before I lined up to take my steps. I knew this was the moment I’ve been waiting for all season long, and I couldn’t have been more ready to take it on. I wanted more than anything to be the hero who won the state championship for his team. After striking the ball, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen.
