WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?
There are no rules, no finish times, no distance restrictions.
Run/walk a treadmill, around the neighborhood or don’t run at all.
It’s up to you. It’s on your time.
Since 2004, The Jack H. Marston II Melanoma Fund has been providing a place for those touched by the disease to gather and fight back … Virtual Run extends that reach.
In 2013, when friends and family from across the country wanted to participate in TRFJ5k but could not make the trip to Illinois, TRFJVirtualRun was formed.
No matter where you are in the United States or World, you can walk, run, jog, skip, cycle or even crawl along a virtual course.
Not only are you and your family engaging in a healthy lifestyle, but you’re also supporting a very important cause, as proceeds will benefit melanoma research, awareness and education.
SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO USE IT, a slide show/video of the TRFJ Certified Course will be posted for your Virtual Run Experience!
Form a Virtual TEAM or Join a TEAM
Yes … you can form a virtual team!
We welcome all who want to make a difference in the fight.
Raise Awareness, Fund Research, Support Healing.
Set up a fundraising page.
Share your Experience
From the stage, on October 18, we will be watching our Twitter and Facebook page …
We will share it with the crowd … just as if you were there!
