In honor of Jill Darr – September 2013
“This September, my family and I will be hosting a Melanoma Benefit at Hawthornes Backyard in West
Chicago. It will be a double elimination bags tournament ($30) along with raffles, a bake sale and gift baskets. The reason for my email is because my family and I would love if JacksFund would be apart of this day. You have helped us through our hard times and this is our way of giving back. On the day of the walk we are “The Green Team” and we walk for Jill Darr and all money raised on the day of the tournament will be donated to Jack’s Fund in her name.” READ MORE: Green Team copy

An Event Like NO OTHER.
Proceeds benefit JacksFund.
A note from Jessica, Founder of Run Ugly, “If you need anymore motivation for a race to benefit melanoma in Colorado here it is… I had a mole removed on valentines day that we had been following and it was a melanoma. Fortunately it is early and I will be getting a minor surgical removal of the area with hopefully no further treatment. Almost seven years without a melanoma until now so I am grateful. Thank you everyone for being a part of this race that I hope will save lives.” This race is a boot camp style run. Start out with a 1-mile run, and then complete 8 fitness stations before running one more mile to finish.
